Good for email, software, account help, and basic troubleshooting
I have spent the last 5+ years providing IT support in environments where reliability really matters — universities, the mortgage and lending industry, and biotech companies. The experience taught me how to explain technology clearly, work patiently with people of all comfort levels, and treat every client's data and devices with care.
The CompTIA A+ is the industry-standard certification for IT support professionals. To earn it, I had to pass two exams covering computers, networking, mobile devices, operating systems, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity. In plain English: it means I have been independently tested and verified to know my way around the everyday technology you use at home — and to do it safely.
